A BMW gets completely destroyed after it caught fire on the A1 with a fire that was said to be started due to an ‘electrics fault’
The fire caused horrific damage to the motor vehicle and left it unrecognisable (as shown by the picture). This caused one lane to be closed on the A1 northbound, which didn’t end up causing too many delays.
Two hose reels and two breathing apparatus were used in tackling the fire. The report stated that it was believed that the fire was caused by an ‘electrical fault.’
