Fire crews from five stations were sent to the high-rise fire in Leeds
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were alerted at around 10:15 on Wednesday night when a fire began on the seventh floor flat building. Two sets of breathing apparatus were used as well as a dry powder fire extinguisher and a high powered fan to attempt to deal with the smoke. Luckily the fire caused no catastrophic damage and thankfully no one was injured. The seventh floor flat is the only flat that the fire stayed in after the fire service’s quick response.
