Firefighters were called to tackle a large electrical fire in Rotherham. The Emergency services were called at around 7pm on Thursday. The cause of the fire is said to be accidental electrical fire. This fire lead to multiple homes being left without power for over a day before Northern Power Grid managed to sort out the problem. Northern Grid stated that they had to switch the power off whilst the damage that was caused by the fire was fixed. The Northern Grid came out and publicly apologised to anyone who was affected by this fire.
