Popular Coventry burger restaurant reopens after horrible electrical fire

The popular burger shop ‘Brgr Lab’ was forced to temporarily close for 6 weeks after a horrible electrical fire broke out inside.

Firefighters were called to the blaze on Monday, October 31. All the electrics had been damaged, which meant that the restaurant required a full rewiring before they could reopen.

The burger restaurant has thankfully reopened as of December 11. To mark the reopening, owner Hamzah Islam said they have launched a brand-new ‘crazy’ flavour combination to coincide with the reopening.

When interviewed, Hamzah said this about his restaurant: “We have relaunched with some new crazy burgers. We have taken extreme to another level.”

“We really want to show our customers a point of difference and we feel that this is one of the reasons we were nominated for Restaurant of the Year 2022.”

“It is really humbling to know that a small outfit on the outskirts of the city centre is getting recognised. We have people from London, Reading and Manchester coming for our burgers so it is a great feeling.”

Brgr Lab can be found on Stoney Stanton Road in Foleshill.
