Fire crews attend house fires in Lincolnshire caused by electrical faults

Fire crews attended two house fires last Friday, January 6th. Both house fires were caused by electrical faults.

At 7:31pm on Friday, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called to two fires in Spalding. The fires caused damage to electrical wiring in a store cupboard and smoke damage to the upstairs rooms.

Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets and small tools. At approximately 7:50pm on the same day, crews attended a house fire on Fontwell Crescent in Lincoln.

The fire caused severe damage to a garage and its contents and smoke damage to the rest of the house. It was extinguished using breathing apparatus and two hose reels.
