Flames from electrical spark through Subway store outside of Birmingham

On July 6, an early morning spark was said to of sparked a fire that ripped through the fast-food sandwich store.

An electrical issue is said to have sparked in the early hours of the morning causing the store to go up in flames. The fire spread to the floor of the flat above, but luckily no one was home at the time of the fire. The fire was tackled by 5 firefighters who afterwards confirmed the fire was electrical.

The fire was shown to have started accidentally by an electrical fault. There was no one in either premise when the fire occurred in the morning hours of the Wednesday. This lead the fire service of the area to come out and make sure all businesses abide by laws when it comes to electrical checks of equipment and services such as pat testing. The service were not 100% what caused the fire apart from it being electrical nature, but still put that message out for local business owners.
