The plug pins are too close to the periphery of the plug presenting a risk of electric shock, if the consumer plugs the plug into the socket the metal parts of the pings open the socket apertures, causing the earth pin to be sheathed and not properly making contact. This means that the consumers fingers can still touch the plug pins whilst plugged in, causing an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.

A portable battery system featuring a mobile power unit and charging tray.
The Flex Mobile Power units from a series of production dates from the start of production in 2019 to May 2022, may overheat resulting in thermal damage to the case and the potential for fire damage or injury. The overheating issues resulted from leaking from individual battery cells within the units, causing corrosion. The product is not in compliance with the safety objectives of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016. There have been 9 overheating incidents reported in several countries. There have been no injuries reported with any of the incidents.

The product presents a high risk of fire as the conductor wire has only been soldered directly to component tags and not to the solder tag holes provided. Therefore, this could be loosened during use by the vibrations or shock, causing the wires to touch other connections that draw high current. This could cause the chainsaw to either explode or catch fire, giving the user burns.
